Joy Inexpressible is a cruiser made from pine plywood. She was built by hand over the course of a few months. These are some photos I modelled for Stoked with her. The details of the build are below.
Her name is a reference to a verse in the New Testament which I have found to be so true in my walk with God. "You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy." - 1 Peter 1:8

Here's a bit of the process - from two pieces of 1/4" ply to everyday longboard. As of late 2019 she's still going strong!

Glueing. Car jack added to make a curve.

Glued and ready to cut

Final shape decided

Basic shape cut out

Aren't jigsaws wonderful things?!

Final shape - sanded down, with truck holes drilled

A couple of coats of wood sealer in

Ready for paint

Several weeks later...

Nameplate painted

Grip tape cut and glued down; trucks added
